Set Of 2
Cut Glass Octagonal Bowls shown in the photographs. Wonderful 8-point star cut foot bottoms! These are beautiful hand blown, thick and heavy, ‘water clear’ colorless glass with deep mitre cuttings. Possibly old Waterford, circa 1815 Late Georgian / Regency Period.
Size
: 4” wide across flats, 1.5” tall at rim
Condition
Report: Used. Small chips and frits on rim teeth (see photographs), occasional small air bubbles and small dark inclusions manufactured/embedded in the glass. Scuffs on the foot bottoms etc., They appear to be free from utensil scratches.
As always due to age and prior usage, the item may have slight imperfections such as minor scuffs, scratches, trim wear, and/or slight manufacturing defects.
