Here is a very rare original South African election poster for the 17 March 1992 vote that ended SA’s longstanding policy of racial segregation known as apartheid.
There are a number of condition issues, but this poster is quite rare in any condition. The poster was clearly ripped off the wall resulting in tears at the top edge and within the YES in the lower portion of the poster. There is a vertical crease and creasing to the corners. Foxing is present overall and most visible in the white fields and there is some water damage present at the bottom edge. “Capetown SA 1994” is erroneously inked in ballpoint to the verso.
