Description

This listing features a beautiful, highly agatized face cut specimen of petrified wood originating from the Owyhee Mountains of Eastern Oregon! The cut face shows distinct growth structure with highly contrasting colored agate in white, tan, brown, gray, light blue and black. The specimen is quite solid! The fossil wood weighs 3 pounds 13.0 ounces and measures 155mm by 74mm by 147mm. All photographs taken while the petrified wood specimen was wet excluding the final three photographs which portray the specimen while dry. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that minimizes the potential for damage.
